To purchase a CSS membership or tickets to a specific event, please use the PayPal or credit card services below.
About Purchasing
Please double check your order to make sure you have selected the correct event and totals. Remember the CSS membership is calendar year membership (January to December).
Using PayPal
To purchase a ticket, join the CSS, or renew membership, click on the appropriate button. You do not need a Paypal account — you can pay by credit card.
Increasing Quantity of Items
Once in PayPal, if you would like to purchase several of the same items (i.e. more than one event ticket) then change the quantity to the correct amount and click the “update” link.
Adding Different Items to Shopping Cart
In PayPal, if you would like to add several different types of items (i.e. a non-member summer picnic ticket, picnic raffle tickets, and a volleyball tournament registration fee) to your shopping cart, click on the button of the item you want, select the quantity & click “update”, click “Continue Shopping” and repeat until you have everything you need. Once your shopping cart is complete check out (see instructions below).
Check Out/Payment Options
Once you have added the correct number and types of items to your shopping cart, you can finish and pay by clicking on “Check Out” (this will allow you to pay using your credit card instead of a PayPal account) or “PayPal” (this will allow you to pay with a PayPal account).

To join the CSS or to renew your CSS membership, click on the appropriate button below. Please fill out the membership form, which will lead you to the payment page. If you are renewing your membership, you can log in to update you profile information and renew your membership.

You can still buy your Ahhhscar Night tickets at the door. We are no longer selling them online, but you can still buy a ticket at the door — not to worry! Just show up with cash or check and we can accomodate you.
Interested in the Sunday Gridiron Club on March 25, 2012?
CSS has a unique opportunity to sell tickets, at cost, to “Sunday at the Gridiron Club,” a reception and musical performance by media favorites that regales “an annual white-tie dinner with satire and songs that skewers Presidents and congressional leaders, lobbyists and sacred cows.” Tickets are $70 and the event takes place on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Washington Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street, NW. The Gridiron Club is a 501(c)(3) organization and $56 of the $70 ticket is tax deductible as a charitable contribution. The reception, which includes an open bar, begins at 3:00pm and the show begins at 4:00pm — the event will end by 6:00pm.
If you are interested: Please make your check payable to “California State Society” and mail it to “California State Society, 403 First Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003.” We MUST receive your check by March 7.
