Ahhhscar Night

Ahhhscar Night is a huge party to celebrate California’s unique entertainment industry.

Ahhhscar Night has been a signature event of the California State Society’s for many years.

This party always occurs during the buzz of the Academy Awards and is a fabulous way for Californians and others to celebrate the industry in DC.

This event features delicious food, movie themed décor, California wines and beer and even a dance party!

In past years, Ahhhscar Night highlights have included a DJ, Hollywood impersonators, a Step and Repeat photo opportunity for all attendees, a red carpet with bouncers and paparazzi and occasionally a celebrity or two.

This is a fan favorite event that you won’t want to miss!

Feedback from CSS Members

“As Vice Chair of the California State Society, I enjoy reconnecting with Californians and supporting the various events and activities. It is always a pleasure to attend the events. My favorite event is the Ahhhscar Night held within the Historic Eastern Market. You can’t beat an evening enjoying California foods and wine!” ~ Congressman Jim Costa
